On Thursday, December 3, 2015, The Hill held a discussion on the future of energy delivery. Policymakers, researchers, and technology and energy industry experts discussed the value of microgrids in the event of a natural disaster or homeland security threat, how microgrids allow for integration of alternative energy sources, and what policy and regulatory reforms are necessary to facilitate the integration of microgrids into the larger power supply system.
